The British Iranian Business and Professional Society conducts regular events. At each event, in addition to exchange of information amongst the members and their guests, a prominent guest speaker is invited to address the gathering on a topical issue of common interest. Previous guest speakers have included leading personalities from the world of business, politics, academia and arts.

    Anjoman October Networking Event

    Dear Anjoman Members and Guests,

    You are invited to join us for an evening of networking, collaboration, and connection at our upcoming October event! Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network, exchange insights, or explore potentials, this event offers a unique opportunity to meet like-minded Iranian and British professionals.

    Our prestigious speakers for the evening:  

    Dr Torange Khonsari, Professor at London Metropolitan University. She teaches Architecture Practice and is course leader for Design for Cultural Commons. She is also Co-Founder and Director of the urbanism, public art and architecture practice Public Works since 2004, an inter- disciplinary practice working on co-production methods in art, architecture, urbanism, systems thinking and citizenship. She is going to talk about: Reimagining State Power: Neighbourhood as centre for political decision making.  

    Hossein Ameli, our founding member and tax expert will give a brief presentation about the fiscal dilemmas of the Chancellor and the like ways of addressing them in her forthcoming budget.

    Tickets: £35 members, £45 non-members and guests.

    Dress Code: Smart Casual

    Refreshments: Enjoy a selection of three curated bowl dishes: salmon, steak, and risotto. Complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available, along with an open bar for additional drink purchases throughout the evening.
