    Dear Anjoman Members and Guests,

In light of the current situation in Iran, many of us continue to feel a deep and heartfelt connection to our homeland and to those facing uncertainty and hardship. During such times, unity within our community becomes more meaningful than ever. With this spirit in mind, we invite you to join us on Thursday, 26th March 2026, for a dignified and commemorative Nowruz gathering.

Nowruz, with over 3,500 years of history, represents renewal, continuity, and hope. Especially in challenging times, it reminds us that while circumstances may change, our culture and identity will endure. This special evening is intended to demonstrate how we can remain connected, preserve our ancient traditions, and express compassion and unity within the Iranian community during difficult times.

This year’s Nowruz event will be unlike our previous celebrations. Rather than a festive party atmosphere, we have chosen to host an evening centered on reflection, resilience, and solidarity. The programme will include a cultural segment, a speaker sharing thoughts on Iran and the deeper meaning of Nowruz, and Iranian classical music performed by professional musician friends, creating a refined and meaningful ambiance.

Because of this specific time and the importance of the situation, we have chosen to heavily subsidised this event to ensure it remains accessible to as many members of our community as possible. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal (selectable menu link below) in an elegant setting while coming together to honour our shared heritage.
