CHAIR

Ava is a self-employed industrial psychologist and co-founder of Immersive Gym... a start-up specialising in immersive wellness experiences and a rowing app for indoor training. She has over 20 years’ experience as a fitness couch specialising in mental and physical wellbeing across all age groups. Ava is an ambassador in her field of wellness, spending part of her time lecturing within the educational and corporate sector on the importance of exercise and behavioural change in our lives as well as the career opportunities this sector offers. She is a teacher trainer within her disciplines, educating and always encouraging best practice within the wellness sector. Ava works very closely with medical doctors to help rehabilitate and make lifestyle changes within patients post procedures and living with disease. Ava is very passionate about mental and physical wellness and is always looking to forge a better future for everyone everywhere in sport, in health and in life.

VICE CHAIR

Owrang studied Economics and Politics at The University of London and later qualified with a Diploma... in Financial Planning. He runs a Wealth Management business called Credius which he established 12 years ago, based in the City of London. He has been recognised by Vouched For, a leading independent vetting agency published in The Times annually, as one of the UKs Top Rated Advisers in 2021, 2022 & 2023. He works with private clients, mostly business owners and busy professionals, who are concerned they are too busy to attend to the finer details of their financial affairs and that they are missing out on opportunities to optimise their financial arrangements. Owrang has been a member for several years and enjoyed networking with, and being part of the Anjoman community. He is keen to further advocate and champion the networking for business and professional success in our British Iranian diaspora while engaging new members to be part of and contribute to our talented community.

SECRETARY

Mitra has a BSc, MSc ad PhD in Information Systems from the Technical University of Vienna ... , Austria and has a wealth of HE and industry experience in consulting and project management. Mitra is a vastly experienced Programme and Project Manager with demonstrable proficiency in leading complex business change and transformation solution programmes across global multi-national environments including global Telecom, Financial, IT, Education and Gaming. Deploys superior frameworks to drive rapid and consistent operational improvements across people, processes, and systems to drive significant revenue upside. Mitra has various qualifications in project management, process engineering, and systemic coaching, and is a qualified project management trainer. During the past 25 years, she has trained project managers, taught, and supervised (online and offline) graduate and post-graduate students in Europe and the middles east.

Amin is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare .... With more than 20 years of experience, he has established a reputation for medical imaging and digital healthcare. Throughout his career, Amin has demonstrated a strong passion for improving healthcare performance. He has a proven track record of commercial accomplishments. His expertise spans areas such as molecular imaging, medical physics and digital healthcare. In addition to his technical skills, Amin excels in building customer relationship, leadership, problem-solving and adaptability, which have enabled him to successfully achieve the corporation goals. Amin holds an MSc degree in Medical Physics from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He consistently pursues professional development opportunities to stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements and emerging trends. Outside of his professional endeavours, Amin enjoys playing badminton and community involvement. He believes in giving back to the community and has been actively involved in volunteer work and industry associations.

Yasmine works in a medical AI company as an Operations Manager. ...She is passionate about making an impact through entrepreneurship and is the founder of a tea company working directly with farmers in the Middle East. She also holds a neuroscience degree from UCL.
