Speaker Profile:

Ali Parsa, PhD is a social entrepreneur who founded Circle in 2004. His personal belief that organisations should create a partnership between entrepreneurial drive, employee passion and financiers' resources, and reward them all respectively, has pioneered a new organisational model dubbed as Mutual Capitalism by the World Economic Forum.

Prior to Circle, Ali was an executive director of Goldman Sachs' and worked at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse First Boston. He studied Civil Engineering as a first degree and has a PhD in Engineering Physics from the University of London. To finance his PhD work he set up a media promotion company and won the Royal Award by Prince of Wales for the Young Entrepreneur of the year in 1995. More recently, Ali won the award for Entrepreneurial Achievement in the 2010 Independent Healthcare Awards and was named in the 50 most influential people in UK healthcare in the Health Service Journal's annual survey in 2012. Ali was named by the Times as one of the 100 people to watch in 2012 and is the UK Cabinet Office Ambassador for Mutuals.

Hossein Ameli, BA, MA, FCPA, AFA, AIFP, DipPFS is a trained accountant, business adviser, economist, financial planner and tax specialist with over 30 years of professional experience in public accounting and the private sector. He is the Chief Executive of Anderson Ross Group based in Canary Wharf. Hossein worked in 3 firms of Chartered Accountants in London before specialising in Personal Finance in 2 firms of Independent Financial Planners. He then directed the operations of the largest private global news agency in Europe, Africa and Middle East before founding Anderson Ross Group in May 1996.

Hossein blends a range of expertise ideally suited for holistic professional advisory services with specific reference to asset protection, profit improvement and tax mitigation. Hossein was named as the Member of the Year by the Princeton Global Network in 2012. He is a founding member of Anjoman and is passionate about contributing to the success of the British Iranian community.
