Business Strategies in High-Tech Companies-Catching Market Transitions: 

Mr Mohsen Moazami is vice president of the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), responsible for the group’s global efforts in the retail / consumer products industries and the Emerging Markets. He is a proven leader with extensive experience in business leadership and technology-enabled business transformation. Mr Moazami works with senior management of Global 500 companies to help accelerate their strategic use of technology to increase their business success. In the emerging markets, Mr Moazami works with senior government leaders to help drive country transformation, improve national competitiveness, and advance citizens’ lives. Under his leadership, the global retail / CPG / transportation team has more than doubled the number of customer partnerships, with successful engagements in 80 percent of the top 10 brands in the world. Mr Moazami is a member of the board of Cisco India, overseeing, Cisco’s $1.1 billion investment in that country. He has served on Cisco‘s Enterprise Business and Marketing councils, and is a member of the board of directors of Zensys, a venture-backed company focused on the home automation marketplace. He is an active member of the EPC global Board of Governors and the NorCal chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO). Before joining IBSG, Mr Moazami was a vice president / senior partner at Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA) in charge of the global e-business practice. Prior to KSA, Mr Moazami founded and oversaw the growth of Stanford Business Systems, an IT software and consulting firm. Mr Moazami earned a master’s degree from Stanford University and has served on the advisory boards for Coca-Cola Corporation and Procter & Gamble.
