    Dear Anjoman Members and Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for our upcoming event at the Ab-Anbar Gallery

Ab-Anbar, co-directed by Salman Matinfar (the founder) and Azadeh Zaferani, is a contemporary art gallery founded in Tehran in 2014. The gallery relocated to London in 2020 and established a permanent space in Fitzrovia that opened in 2023. Ab-Anbar means "water reservoir" in Farsi, symbolizes its fluid, diasporic approach to exploring art, history, and identity through exhibitions and cultural programs.

Salman, trained in fine arts and business, focusing on alternative narratives to modernism, particularly from Iran and the Middle East. Azadeh, trained in architecture and urban design, is currently a lecturer at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) with her research centered around the political agency of architecture in the Middle East.

We are delighted to welcome Babak Kazemi and Pargol Einaloo, who will discuss their art work and Experimental Photography practice with a short workshop!
