Anjoman Yalda Networking Event

Dear Anjoman Members and Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for our final gathering of the year, a vibrant cultural celebration of Shab-e-Yalda, also known as Winter Solstice Night, a traditional Persian celebration observed on the longest night of the year, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness.  

Hosted by Anjoman the evening will be filled with warmth, tradition, and community spirit. As a token of appreciation, Anjoman is offering subsidies for our valued Members.

Time: 18:30 - 22:30

Tickets: £20 Members, £50 Non-members and guests

Location: Linden House, 60 Upper Mall, Hammersmith, W6 9TA

Dress Code: Smart Casual

Evening plan:  

• Welcome drinks
•  Short speech on cultural  & history of the celebration by distinguished members
•  Open platform for members to share reflections on Yalda (please send your prepared thoughts in advance; speakers will be selected randomly due to time limits)
•  Traditional Yalda treats — pomegranates, watermelon, sweets
•  Hot Persian dishes — kebabs and stews
•  Raffle draw for an amazing and priceless book
•  Anjoman Surprise Challenge: teamwork, collaboration, and a winning prize of a bottle of Prosecco!

RSVP: To ensure we have ample refreshments and a comfortable space for all attendees, we kindly request that you RSVP by 16 December 2025. 

Please note: Tickets are non-refundable, transferable with prior agreement and cancellation is not allowed. Post RSVP deadline, if places are available the fee will increase to a flat rate of £70 per person.
