BACKGROUND TO MAIN SESSION

Colin GreenProfessor Colin Green is the Director of Northwick Park Institute for Medical Research in London and the Chief Executive of International Medical Education Trust 2000. He has spent 36 years in research on tissue and organ transplantation, tissue regeneration, burns treatment and surgical reconstruction, and wound healing after trauma. He is Professor of Surgical Science in University College of London; UNESCO Chair in Cryobiology and Tissue Banking; Academician in Ukraine Academy of Sciences; past Director of the Blond McIndoe Centre; and ex-Co-Director of Research, RAFT Institute of Plastic Surgery.' He is also the President of Foundation for Alghods Medical School.
